TerraPainter

Welcome to the TerraPainter page. TerraPainter is a program I wrote to paint terrains for Terragen. More information about Terragen can be found at http://www.planetside.co.uk.

Introduction

In TerraPainter, you can use a variety of 'paint brushes' to create a terrain file. For more information about the possibilities, have a look at the on-line help file.

Latest changes

Version 2.1.0 has been released 5-5-2003. This version fixes an error when trying to load large terrains. I also wrote a little brush generator (choose the brush generator from the tools menu in TerraPainter). Please e-mail me if you find an error.

There are two download versions of the program. Download the zip version if you want to install it manually.

To run TerraPainter, you need visual basic 5 run-time files. You will probably have these files already. If the file msvbvm50.dll is not installed in your windows\system directory, download it here.
